Booking

Booking is through our online booking system. Please note that payment is due prior to the session starting. If there are any services that you would like to take part in but no dates set then please get in touch.

Changes or Cancellation by us

There may be times when we need to make necessary changes to existing bookings due to extreme weather or river levels. In these cases we will do what we can to let you know of the changes prior to the start of your session.  

We are in the business of adventure, which means that if the weather changes, we sometimes need to change our programme. In the event that the session you booked is unable to take place, we will offer to reschedule you, or a credit note for you to use another time.

Session Timings and Logistics

Our session times vary. The times mentioned is that of the time spent on the water. Meeting times will be 30 minutes prior to the start time.  

On occasions the session may run over, please notify the instructor if you are restricted on time. 

Vehicle Shuttle Runs

As we will be river running from A-B it is expected that staff and client(s) will share lifts up to the launch point. Client(s) or staff will then provide lifts back to the launch point to collect vehicles.

Client Safety

Guests will at all times during the course, in the interest of safety promptly comply with all reasonable instructions or advice given to them by us. If they fail to comply with such instructions or advice, or have the safe ability to paddle, we reserve the right to exclude them from the session and do not accept any responsibility for any liability, loss expenses or damages arising because of their failure to comply. During the activity we will assess your skill level. If we feel your skill level is not adequate or safe before embarking on an activity, we reserve the right to exclude them from the session

Weather and River Levels

Unfortunately we cannot control the weather. In the event that the weather is unsuitable or river levels too high, SUP Shropshire will provide suitable safe alternative. In particular, customers accept that the itinerary stated in the trip details is indicative only and not a guarantee that a particular route will be followed or place reached. Whilst we endeavour to carry out our SUP sessions, minimum numbers, instructor availability and weather conditions can affect the activity. If there are weather warnings, we have to reschedule your session with us. We will always contact you to advise you as soon as we are able to discuss the options with you.

Cancelation by you

We understand that sometimes you may need to reschedule your session. We will reschedule, offer a credit note or refund your session(s) subject to below, and try to get you booked on another date. 

Time before session

Up to 15 days- 100% Refund

14 days to 8 days- 50% Refund

Less than 7 days- 0% Refund

Covid 19 Refund Guarantee 

If due to government guidance you are unable to make your booking then a full refund will be provided. We require notification within 48 hours of such guidance being released by the government.

If you are unable to attend due to a self isolation notification we will offer to reschedule your appointment

Property 

Clients will use their own equipment. The river level changes and it is advised that clients use flexible river fins. 

Clients are responsible for their own equipment and SUP Shropshire does not take any responsibility for damage or loss.

Insurance & Liability

SUP Shropshire Adventure Guide team and contractor(s) are knowledgeable, experienced and will always prioritise customer safety. SUP Shropshire will not accept liability for personal injury sustained by participants that happen as a result of participants not following the’ instructions. We have Public Liability insurance and personal insurance is optional.

We consider your booking details to be confidential and will not pass on your details to a third party under any circumstances unless required to do so under law.
