Service Description
This session will give you an introduction to water rescue. Many paddlers carry throw lines or paddle with friends and have not thought about how they would rescue a friend if they got into trouble. There are many aspects to using a throwline effectively, from talking to your casualty, packing your line correctly, bracing, when and where to throw the line and most importantly how to collect the line ready for a second throw. During the session you will have the opeertunity to rescue real casualties in moving water. During the break we will enjoy a brew from the Kelly Kettle and a piece of cake or flapjack.

Cancellation Policy
We occasionally cancel sessions due to the weather conditions and river levels - most often high winds. We will provide you with the option to reschedule at a future date. If you cancel your session within one week of the confirmed date we will be unable to offer you a full refund.
